Room 18 teacher and Kaituna Team Leaderniheta@mis.school.nz
I had a fairly nomadic upbringing; born in Rotorua, moved to Dunedin, Petone, Island Bay, and Masterton for my schooling. I moved to Palmerston North to study at Massey for Four years. My first teaching job was at Opotiki College. I returned to Masterton to teach at Wairarapa college and ended up taking a position at MIS in 2013, and I have been here since.
I enjoy sports, pottery, painting, hunting, and spearfishing. You may find me parked up at a campsite in my caravan with my wife, two young boys, and my GSP dog. The thing I like most about working at MIS is the many opportunities that students and staff have on offer to them.
