Born in Wellington, I trained at Wellington College of Education and have lived in the Wairarapa since 2005.
I first taught at MIS in 2007/08, before moving overseas to teach. Since returning to NZ in 2015, I have worked in several schools in Masterton. I currently work 2 days a week at MIS and 3 days at Hadlow.
I believe the core business of a school is learning and I think it is important to try and foster ‘a love of learning’. We should provide children with quality learning experiences, which reflect their needs academically, socially and culturally. I also believe this provision should allow children to contribute and take responsibility for their own learning and personal development.
