TECHNOLOGIES
We believe in having ‘the right tool for the job’ on hand at all times. Sometimes this is a pencil and paper, sometimes it is a Chromebook, iPad or Desktop PC!
Our team of teachers are always learning new ways to make learning more exciting and more accessible through digital technology.
Mrs Robyn Hamilton delivers the digital technologies curriculum to each class every 8 day cycle. This also upskills the classroom teacher to enable them to take the skills learnt from these sessions and use them back into their own classroom programme.
MIS currently provides 20 Chromebooks per class. Ipads are available for staff to also use for the teaching and learning in their classrooms.
We also welcome students to ‘Bring their own Chromebook’. These will be linked to our school network so that we as a school can manage its use.
