Welcome to Masterton Intermediate School, a place which specialises in providing engaging learning experiences for early adolescents through a huge range of opportunities.

I have a long connection with MIS dating back to 1994 and am very proud to be the Principal. We are a team of committed teachers and support staff who specialise in meeting the needs of the 11, 12 and 13 year olds of the Wairarapa region.

Our 420 amazing students are the most powerful advertisement we could hope for. We are very proud that they arrive at school happy to be here, they get stuck in to the opportunities presented to them and they leave each day buzzing.
